Privacy Policy
Delani McKee Photography ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit delanimckeephotography.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the inquiry or booking form on the Site, we collect your name, email address, phone number, event or session details, and any message you send us. The form is delivered to us by FormSubmit, a third-party form service, which processes your submission in order to email it to us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics provider, Cloudflare, automatically records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports this in aggregate and does not use cookies or track you across other websites.
Fonts. The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those files directly from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about bookings and sessions;
- provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services;
- understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
The Site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics. Our analytics provider, Cloudflare Web Analytics, is cookieless. Cloudflare may set limited cookies necessary for security and to operate the Site. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent.
Sharing of Information
We share information only with the service providers we use to run the Site, and only as needed for them to perform their service:
- FormSubmit — processes inquiry form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
- Cloudflare — hosts the Site and provides security and cookieless traffic analytics.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces the Site uses; receives your IP address when a page loads.
- Google (Gmail) — our email provider, which receives and stores the inquiries you send us.
We do not use advertising networks or email marketing platforms, and we do not sell or rent your information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Data Retention
We keep inquiry messages in our email account for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep a record of bookings, and longer where tax or contract records require it. Aggregate analytics data is retained by Cloudflare on their standard schedule and is not linked to you personally. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time using the contact details below.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain uses. To make a request, contact us at the email below. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR; if you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
